You asked for it. We built it.
With the new Market Intelligence feature, you can create screens using the filters you care about — market data, financial metrics, and Hudson Labs forensic risk scores.
Below is a step-by-step guide to replicate some of our most popular Hudson Labs screens using the updated forensic risk score
High forensic risk score + large price run-up
By far, our most popular screen.
Go to Market Intelligence. In the filters on the left, select Risk, then Forensic Risk Score. Just like the legacy model, scores above 70 are high risk. The updated scores use a more robust model that incorporates 8-K data and improves risk detection, helping you identify issues earlier. Learn more here.
Next, select Stock Price Change. Choose a time period and minimum price change — for example, a 40% increase over three months.
Optional:
- Adjust the default minimum market cap. Risk scores are available only for companies with at least $250M in market cap.
- Add a Daily Volume filter to identify companies with sufficient liquidity.

Find companies with high related party risk or ineffective internal controls
Identify companies that have a high risk rating in one or more risk categories. See details on what each risk category captures, why it matters, and examples of cases where elevated risk preceded broader problems at the company here.

Evaluate risk in your watchlist
In Market Intelligence, select your watchlist in the screening filters on the left and click Run Screen.

Next, click Display columns in the top right

Add fields you'd like to see: forensic risk score, category risk ratings, or financial metrics like revenue growth.

Combine risk scores with traditional market metrics
Market Intelligence lets you combine qualitative risk ratings with traditional metrics. For example, screen for declining free cash flow and accounting issues in one view.
Build screens that reflect exactly how you evaluate risk.
